Aliona Kotliarenko was born and lived in Kyiv, Ukraine.
She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at KNUBA and Contemporary Art at KAMA (Kyiv).
Aliona`s work is aimed at exploring the theme of the environment and human interaction with its surroundings, including the themes of forced migration and adaptation to a new space. In her works she uses ceramics and graphic drawing techniques.
